WeAreSC.com: How is season going so far?

TT: So far we are 2-2-1, as a team we are making too many mental mistakes.  We should be undefeated.  Last Friday we played Arcadia, and we lost 23-13.  I had 16 solo tackles in the game, 2 passes defended, and on offense I had 11 carries for 97 yards.  I'm playing strong safety on D, and on offense I am playing running back, wide receiver, and quarterback.  I was involved with a couple of mistakes last Friday.  I lost a kick because I touched the ball when I should not have.  I also had a runback I took to the 30 yard line called back because of holding.  We start our league play next game.

WeareSC.com:  Have you narrowed down your college choices?

TT: I am open to all the PacTen schools, Colorado, Colorado State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Hawaii.

WeAreSC.com: Michigan and Notre Dame are new to your list.

TT: Yeah, they have been picking up their mailings and recruitment of me lately.

WeAreSC.com: What about one of your past favorite's Oregon State?

TT: They have slowed down their recruitment of me.   I do not hear from them as much as I used to.

WeAreSC.com: Any stand out from that group?

TT: USC, Ucla, Oregon, and Colorado State are my top four as of now.

WeAreSC.com: Have you been to been to any SC games so far?

TT: I went to the SC/Auburn game and the SC/Oregon State.  I also went to Colorado State/Ucla in September at the Rose Bowl.

WeAreSC.com: What position are the coaches at USC recruiting you at?

TT: Safety and CB.

WeAreSC.com: Do you have a preference?

TT: I like safety because I have been playing it the last 2-3 years, but I don't mind corner.  I am playing strong safety right now to be in the best position to make plays for my team.  It would be cool playing safety next to Darnell Bing in the future.  We both have speed and love to hit.

WeAreSC.com: How is the qualifying going?

TT: I have a qualifying GPA and I retook the SAT last Saturday.

WeAreSC.com: What coaches have been in touch?

TT: Every week I talk to 3 or 4 of the coaches at SC.  Coaches Carroll, Burns, Sarkisian, and Orgeron are the coaches I talk to.  I talk to Coach Burns after every game to let him know my stats and how the game went.  Coach Sarkisian is my recruiting coordinator.

WeAreSC.com: Do you know what schools you want to officially visit:

TT: For sure USC, and also Oregon, maybe Washington State, and the others to follow.  I want to take all five visits if I can.  I may plan to take four visits and leave one open just in case a new school comes into the picture.

WeAreSC.com: When do you plan on making a decision?

TT: After I am done with my trips, probably on national signing day.

WeAreSC.com: Anything else you would like to mention?

TT: No, see you at the SC/Notre Dame game…I will be at that game for sure.
