What more can be said about Steve Smith?  He is an unbelievably graceful athlete who has been a can't miss star since his sophomore year.  He's been slowed this season by an injury to his right ankle (played the first game, half of the 2nd and then last week) but he is fine now. So far on the year he has 19 catches for 362 yards (19.1 per catch) and 5 touchdowns. Steve prefers playing wide receiver but is also a standout DB as well as in hoops (26 pts per game) and on the relay team in track.  He had 185 receptions for 3,181 yards and 29 touchdowns in two seasons as a soph and junior.  Smith hasn't played a lot of defense so far this season and has been rusty.  Steve set a school record last season with 12 picks.  He is looking at USC, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee and others but the Trojans are the team to beat. Steve has superior coordination and body control and might be the best two sport athlete from this area since Jason Thomas.

Noah Smith has tremendous speed (state level sprinter and relays) and he is ready for a breakout game this year.  Has 9 catches for 178 (19.8) and 2 TD's.  His father played FB (kick returner) at UCLA.  Noah has run 10.57 in the 100 and 21.03 in the 200, he also has a 3.2 GPA. Wants to major in criminal sociology and has been offered scholarships by USC, UCLA, Michigan State, Washington, Tennessee and others.

Lance Broadus is the player who makes it go on defense.  He is being recruited heavily by schools such as USC and Oklahoma and he will leave Friday morning for a trip to
