Quoting Carroll: Tuesday Practice

SCPlaybook's Kevin Carden caught up with USC Head Coach Pete Carroll on Tuesday to get his thoughts on Sam Baker, UCLA and much more.

Pete Carroll on Sam Baker and Keith Rivers:

"He practiced great today and made it through the whole thing. He's raring to go and feeling really good. So that's terrific. Keith looked great today. He's fine. He's ready to go as well. He looked full speed today. He's going to start the way he is going if he can make it through the week."

Pete Carroll on Fili Moala:

"He's still sitting out. He's going to get re-evaluated tonight and talk to the doctors and all of that and get as much rest as he needs. Hopefully we will get him back."

Pete Carroll on preparing for UCLA's quarterbacks:

"We are looking at all of their guys. We are figuring that they are all healthy and can play. We are anticipating seeing Patrick Cowan playing in this game and they got Ben (Olson) ready. So they got everybody that they need. I'm sure they feel pumped up about that. It's a good boost for them and we understand what it is like to get your quarterbacks back in order. The three guys are different and they do a little bit different stuff and we have taken note of that already. We have been watching them all year as we go through the Pac-10 season. I feel pretty well versed on them but it will be interesting to see what happens and see what they do."

Pete Carroll on Cary Harris' injury:

"I think he dislocated his finger. I think that is what happened but that was no first hand. I don't know yet, he is in seeing the doctors right now."

Pete Carroll on Sedrick Ellis' personal four against Arizona State:

"They thought that you could look at it a couple different ways depending on what was going on in the game itself. It really could have gone either way. It's not one of the specific things that you can't do."
