Last weekend, Hall was back on the USC campus for an unofficial visit to watch the Trojans take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in one of the most anticipated matchups of the college football season.
"It was really hype. There were 93,607 people and it was ridiculous that it was so loud," Hall said of the atmosphere inside the Los Angeles Coliseum. "It was probably one of the biggest venues that I have been in and you could just like feel the game. It was real intense."
While most observers expected a closer game between the two traditional powers, Hall said he wasn't surprised to see the Trojans come away with a lopsided victory.
"I expected a blowout. USC plays good in big atmosphere games," Hall said. "They had two weeks to prepare so they knew everything that was coming and read the plays.
"Pryor hurt them a little bit just because of his athletic ability but it wasn't anything game changing."
The one aspect of the game that did surprise the 6-3, 194-pound athlete was hearing USC fans chant his name as he came out of the tunnel.
"Morell Presley and me were sitting there and then all of the sudden we heard our names being chanted," Hall said. "We were just walking down on the field and people were yelling my name. It was humorous but really cool at the same time."
One of the major benefits of being at the game was the chance to visit with fellow recruits and get to know them on a more personal level.
"Just being able to talk and know who people are more than just watching highlight film, so you can see who they are and what kind of people they are," Hall said.
"I hung out with (Matt) Barkley. We are pretty cool, and me and Devon (Kennard) are really cool. We talk a lot."
Hall excelled at both wide receiver and safety during the Rising Stars Camp and has the ability to play on either side of the ball in college, but hasn't yet decided on what position he would like to play on the next level.
"As we go through the year I will make that decision, and where I go to school might be based on where I play," Hall said. "I'm not sure what side of the ball I want to play on.
"Recently on the offensive side of the ball I have had a lot of success but then again I have scored three times on defense and been around the ball all the time."
When asked about the highlight of his unofficial visit Hall said, "Just the intensity. It was a big-time atmosphere and the feeling that they played with. It was a fight every play."
Adam Hall said he plans to take an official visit to USC in December.
