SC commit Salo Faraimo was at the SC-ND game this past weekend, and he enjoyed it: "Oh it was one of the best games that I've ever been to. The atmosphere and then just watching the team beat ND the way they did, just offensively and defensively." So what made Salo pull the trigger? "Well, they were always my top choice, but I just had to talk it over with my family and stuff." USC is apparently recruiting this 2 way star as an "athlete:" "(The coaches) didn't really tell me if I was going to be a RB or a LB, they just wanted me to be a Trojan." On his stats for the year: "Offensively, 131 carries for 793 yards 16 TD's and Defensively, 59 solos' 54 assists 2 sacks and 1 int." On his plans for the off-season: "Basically just working out, getting bigger and stronger and faster. Right now, I'm at 5-11 around 195- 200 and I run the forty in 4.6. I hope to get to about 215-220." On being a Trojan: "I know that I can't wait to be a Trojan. When my time is done at Vista, I know that there's gonna be another great thing waiting for me." Vista plays San Diego power Torrey Pines this weekend.
