Scout Ranking: #4 Offensive Tackle
Kevin Graf is the top offensive lineman in the West and has all the tools coaches look for in a college offensive tackle. At 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, he has great size, strength and is fundamentally sound. Graf showed why he is considered the top lineman in the West by more than holding his own against some of the top defensive linemen in the nation at USC's Rising Stars Camp and the Under Armour/Scout Los Angeles Combine.
The talented offensive lineman will follow in the footsteps of his father, Allan, and brother, Derek, who both played offensive line at USC.
According to Carroll: "Kevin Graf is a big kid that's been around our program for years. He's one of the most complete players that we've had at the offensive line at this early age and a great deal of credit goes to his coaches of course, but also from the upbringing from his family and the camps, he's really well equipped and can vie for the best kid at his position with anyone in the country. We're really thrilled about him."
Reason for Choosing USC: "I committed as soon as the offer came in. I knew I'd commit when they offered. I wanted to be a part of that program and the history. It's a great school and it's close to home."
Future Impact: Graf should provide good depth at offensive tackle as a freshman while learning the blocking schemes. Under the watchful eye of Pat Ruel, he has the potential to see the field early in his career at USC and become a major contributor.
Kevin Graf has all the tools you look for in offensive tackle.
