Terrell Thomas is a Trojan

Terrell Thomas, a 6-0, 180 pound defensive back from Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) has committed to USC. Thomas had been a big Trojan lean for some time so it wasn't too surprising when he pulled the trigger. A prominent player on the visit in the same area code also committed along with Thomas.

"Terrell and Sedric (Ellis) committed together on the 50 yard line at the Coliseum," Terrell's mother said. "I was shocked and so was the Ellis family, neither of us thought they would commit but they just felt the timing was right.

"We all had an unbelievable time. USC is such a first class program and does everything top of the line. When you hear the same thing from the coaches as well as the players there, that's special. They gave everyone a tour of the campus, talked about the academics and boy they feed you like crazy on these trips.

"On Saturday, all the players were taken to the Coliseum and they announced the players names on the scoreboard. That's when Terrell and Sedric called Pete Carroll over and told them they were ready to commit. I'm so excited for Terrell right now. USC has a great thing going and we're excited about the future there."
