USC has offered six wide receivers from the class of 2010 and has verbal commitments from two potential receivers in No. 1 Scout.com receiver Robert Woods from Serra High in Gardena, and Dillon Baxter from Mission Bay High in San Diego. Baxter could easily end up playing a role like Bush and McKnight has, but in my opinion he is a better pass catcher and route runner than both Bush, and McKnight.
Kyle Prater from Proviso West High in Hillside, Ill., visited USC
for the second time earlier this month and spent two days on campus.
Prater told us he made a decision to announce his commitment on Sept. 2 shortly after his unofficial visit to USC. He was originally scheduled to officially visit USC when the Trojans face San Jose State on Sept. 5, but he told us he will visit at a later date.
I'm not a math major, but I like USC's chances with Prater, considering Robert Woods committed and then USC told five-star WR Kenny Stills they have no room for him.
So, are the Trojans done with their 2010 wide receiver recruiting or are their other prospects they are interested in?
