Wright has two tied at the top

Demetrius Wright from Corona, Calif., left southern California last weekend with USC as his top school and returned from his official to Washington with two schools even. Wright's visit to Seattle was a roaring success for the Husky staff, despite losing to LSU 31-23. It's obvious Washington is an improved program with the new staff, and they can recruit, too.

"It was good, it was really good," said Wright about his official visit to Washington. "I liked everything about the visit. I told Coach (Steve Sarkisian) I rated the visit a nine because I wanted my team to win. He told me that I would have a chance to compete for a playing time as a freshman."

So, the question is, are the Trojans still the favorite?

"It's tied up with Washington and SC," said Wright.

This weekend Lane Kiffin and his staff will have an opportunity to bring the Vols into the mix. We asked Wright what he's looking to get out of his visit to Tennessee?

"I'm looking for a good football game atmosphere, they have a nice stadium, so I'm going to check that out, I'll check out the campus and everything about Tennessee," said Wright.

After Wright visits Tennessee, he said he will visit Arizona, but he doesn't have a date set, yet.

"I'm planning on visiting Arizona and I'm trying to pick the right date for that," Wright said.

Wright, who is one of the top cornerbacks on the West Coast, said he will not take an official visit to USC because of its proximity to his home in Corona.

"I can visit USC anytime I want to because it's so close," said Wright. "I will be at the next home game against Washington State and will talk more in depth with the coaches."

Scout.com will speak to Wright after his official visit to Tennessee this weekend.
