Not many believed Matt Barkley was ready to take over the USC offense as a true freshman before the season began, but after four games, there's little doubt with anyone which Trojan quarterback is best prepared, physically and mentally, to lead the USC offense. Barkley didn't complete an impressive number of passes on Saturday night, but the passes he did complete, were extremely impressive.
Barkley had a 29 yard touchdown pass to Brice Butler for USC's second score and a 57 yard touchdown toss to Damian Williams in the first quarter to put USC up 20-0.
SCPlaybook caught up with the tremendously talented young quarterback after the game on Saturday night.
