Trojan vs. Trojan

Gardena, Calif. - Former Georgia Head Coach Jim Donnan once said of Scouting, "When we go to games, I want my wife to be able to pick out who we're after." With so much talent on the field on Friday night when Taft visited Serra, Donnan's wife would have had a lot of good choices, but it was the two USC commitments that shined brightest.

Two of the very best two way athletes in the entire country for the Class of 2010 are headed to USC. Serra's Robert Woods is Scout's No. 1 ranked wide receiver and is equally dangerous at safety, and Taft's D.J. Morgan is a member of the Scout 100, ranked in the Top 10 in the country at running back, and could be an All-Conference performer at corner in his college career.

The two future Trojans found themselves on opposite sides of the field on Friday night, and regulation was not enough time to settle the score as Woods' Serra team overcame a late rally from Taft to win in overtime 26-20.

Woods and Morgan traded highlight reel plays throughout the night including touchdowns, interceptions, big hits, and big catches. ScoutTV* was there to bring you all of the action.
