Richardon has been a success at Serra

Paul Richardson transfered to Serra High in Gardena, Calif., and has been a a main target for QB Conner Preston when Serra needs a huge third down completion. He doesn't beat many DB's on deep routes and score many touchdowns, but he's a big-time reason Conner Preston and the Serra offense is so prolific.

SCPlaybook has talked to Richardson in the past and aknowledged his influence on the success of the Serra offense, but he proves it every week.

Serra is 5-0 and won a tough fought 26-0 OT battle against a very good Woodland Hills Taft program Friday night.

In that game Richardson wasn't spectacular, but he made three tough receptions that kept drives alive.

SCPlaybook spoke to Richardson after the game and asked him his thoughts on his hip injury, Serra's future opponents and how close his relationships are wit the Serra players....and more.

Richardson, a former UCLA commit, is still close to the UCLA coaches and highly considering signing with the Bruins come February, but he's also considering Arizona State.

My money is on Rick Neuheisel and the Bruins in this case.
