Barkley's become the face of the USC offense

Matt Barkley's numbers won't wow those who haven't seen him play, but those who have, understand that he's the clear offensive leader of the USC football team. Yeah, completing 63 of 107 pass attempts and 958 yards won't get him a mention as a Heisman Trophy candidate, but the offense has become efficient and will only continue to get better and more prolific with Barkley at the helm.

Barkley was born to be a leader and from day one expected to be succesful and head up the Trojan offense.

ESPN's Rece Davis said after the Gameday crew interviewed Barkley after the comeback-victory over Ohio State, "If anyone is wondering who everyone is going to be talking about when Tim Tebow is gone, you just saw him."
