Kasdorf is clutch

He may not be the most hyped quarterback on the West Coast, but Ryan Kasdorf from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame continues the legacy of solid Notre Dame quarterbacks. On Friday night he led the Knights to a 28-24 victory over St Francis. Kasdorf threw for 217 yards and added 46 more on the ground. He and running back Kenny Boggs were an elusive duo when running the ball.

Ryan Kasdorf finished the 2008 season with an extremely impressive 3,300 yards passing (69%) for 38 touchdowns and only six interceptions. He's also a very bright kid and has 3.6 GPA and scored a 26 on the ACT and 1650 on the SAT.

Kasdorf told Scout.com earlier this year, "I'm very accurate and don't miss a lot of throws. I'm good in the pocket and can find the open wide receiver. I can make plays too and am pretty good at scrambling.

"I still want to improve my footwork though. I want to have a quicker release and find the open man faster."

This season Kasdorf has more than 1,300 yards passing and nearly 300 yards rushing and Notre Dame is 5-1, with its only loss to Moorpark on Spet. 12.
