Jalen Grimble receives 12th offer

Jalen Grimble already had 11 offers from schoools like USC, UCLA, LSU, Michigan, Stanford, Nebraska, Texas Tech, UNLV, Utah, Vanderbilt and Tennessee, but he was offered a scholarship from one of the top programs over the past 10 years on Friday.

"Jalen got an offer from the Miami Hurricanes Friday," said Jalen's father Jerry. "Wow, God is good!" Grimble, who will be one of the top ranked 2011 West Coast prospects, has had a stellar junior season and is in Baton Rouge this weekend for an unofficial visit.

He visited Utah last weekend and he said," The visit to Utah was great." "Everyone at Utah made me feel right at home."

Scout.com will have a report on Grimble's visit to LSU this weekend. He is visiting the Tigers with his father Jerry. The Grimble's have family living in Monroe, La., and Jalen's grandmother is also from Monroe, although she lives in Las Vegas, now. She visited USC last weekend with USC verbal commit and Jalen's cousin, Xavier Grimble, last weekend.

Jalen and his father said they are heading to the LSU campus now (12:18 CST) and look forward to getting to the game against Tulane later tonight.

Grimble plans on visiting a few schools once and then plans on making a decision on a school, much like his cousin Xavier did, in the spring.

Again, we'll have a report on Jalen Grimble's visit to LSU tomorrow or Monday.
