USC running back Allen Bradford has patiently waited his turn to get significant carries for four years, and this year he finally got that opportunity. Unfortunately, one of the reasons Bradford has been relied upon so heavily stemmed from a season-ending injury to Stafon Johnson. But Bradford had erarned his way into the running back rotation before Johnson's injury.
On the season Bradford has 71 carries for 477 yards and four touchdowns, and is averaging more than six yards per carry.
Last Saturday Bradford didn't have one of his best games statistically (14 carries/69 yards), but he was asked to be the ball carrier at the end of the game when the Trojans were attempting to run out the clock.
