2011 Serra star DE hearing from the Trojans

Not many recruiting fanatics have heard of Serra junior defensive end Jason Gibson, but he's quietly accumulated offers from UCLA, Tennessee, Stanford, Washington, Washington State, Arizona and Arizona State. That's an impressive list of offers at this point. Gibson said he's hearing a lot from USC, but hasn't gotten an offer. More on that in the video interview.

Gibson has 58 tackles and 11 sacks this year, with seven tackles for a total loss of 65 yards.

He's a tenacious and relentless pass rusher and already a Scout.com Top-100 2011 prospect.

Scout.com's Scott Kennedy had a perfect evaluation of Gibson when he wrote: The second member of the Scout 100 for 2011 in this game (there were three total). Gibson runs like a linebacker from his defensive end position. He's strong at the point of attack and will only get stronger as he matures. He has a very good change of direction and quick acceleration.
