The four-star cornerback made his announcement on national television during the Army All-American Bowl, with fellow USC commit Robert Woods watching from the sidelines.

Along with the opportunity to compete for playing time as a freshman, Wright said he was drawn to the Trojans because of all the success that they have had over their storied history.
"They have that winning tradition, so I want to come up there and keep winning," he said. "I like going to their games and the crowd."
Wright was recruited by Brennan Carroll and said he developed a strong bond with the USC assistant during the recruiting process.
"Brennan Carroll is real strong recruiter and he was with me the whole time, putting good stuff in my head about the school," Wright said.
