Wittek had offers from the two local schools in UCLA and USC, and was seriously considering both schools. Not that those were the only schools he was serious about, but USC is getting one of the elite quarterbacks from the 2011 recruiting class.
"USC is getting a guy who has his best football ahead of him, he's technically sound, he's not going to be ready to play right and he doesn't need to play right away," said Scout.com West Coast guru Brandon Huffman. "His best play is ahead of him and Max has a huge upsaide."
We'll have more from Max Wittek on his commitment to USC later today.
