Chad Artist is the Newest Instate Commit

Chad Artist after growing up in the backyard of Utah State and having a Dad that played at USU committed today.

Chad Artist grew up a Utah State fan. He loves the idea of staying close to home and playing for the team that he grew up watching play on Saturdays.

Chad decided to pull the trigger with a commitment instead to testing the recruiting process. He impressed Boise and most of the PAC12 but instead of waiting for an offer he made his decision. He has offers from Army, Montana State and Southern Utah.

He also loves the coaching staff and told me that was a big factor as well as playing in the Aggies offense was a big pull. Chad is the reigning 100 meter champion in the state of Utah and was the fastest player at the Nike Sparq combine in Utah.

Chad Artist joins Dalton Baker and Tyler Wilemon as solid commits. Zayne Anderson was a verbal commit before reopening his recruitment this off season.

The Aggies are trying to capitalize on their positive momentum right now to land instate recruits as well as important areas such as California, Texas, Florida and also the polynesian pipeline in Hawaii and even Samoa.
