Recently I attended a Brighton Football game. As I walked into the game I saw a tall guy in front of me with a shiny bald head. He was a tall guy, I thought, huh maybe he plays basketball. Turns out he does. That was one of the top 2015 recruits in the state of Utah Brock Miller. I can can attest he is all of the 6'5 he's listed at even without hair.
One guy that hopes he keeps growing too is Stew Morrill. Utah State is in dire need of some talented recruits right now moving into the Mountain West. Brock is exactly that king of difference maker. Not only was Brock highly recruited but also very experienced as well. He was offered by ACC schools Boston College, Florida State and Virginia Tech as well as Stanford multiple Ivy league schools such as Harvard and Air Force among others.
I think Brock's game fits in perfectly at Utah State. He has been playing on the varsity bball team at Brighton since his Freshman year. He has plays point guard, shooting guard and small forward for the Bengals. He is a versatile, do it all guard that is a team first guy. Paired with Sam Merrill the future looks very bright for the Aggies.
Miller says "I love the atmosphere of the Spectrum, the coaching staff and the social aspect of USU. I am looking forward to playing with those guys like Sam Merrill."
For some reason this commitment went a little under the radar but there is no doubt it is HUGE for the Ustate Basketball program.
