Utah State adds a needed big physical interior lineman to 2016 class

Andru Tovi verbally committed to Utah State. This continues a successful poly pipeline and a shift to recruiting bigger more physical Lineman.

Andru Tovi is a 3 Star Offensive Lineman from Mililani HS in Hawaii. He projects best as a Center at the next level.

Tovi is a tenacious blocker and can add depth right away to the interior spots on the oline.

I consider Tovi a Mauler/ Bowling ball type interior lineman and should be able to add enough strength to play either guard or Center at Utah State which will help him see playing time sooner. He also had an offer from San Diego State but decided to commit to Utah State even before his official visit in January.

Andru also shows the Aggies are able to recruit bigger offensive lineman, that may help them compete and play sooner. In the past Utah State has signed a lot of 240 pound olineman projects and that has worked out at times it is better in my opinion to get a guy that is closer to ideal playing weight.

Utah State also has commitments from Christian Cronk who played this year at Riverside City College and Villiamu Awae who greshirted they will both enroll in January.
