Rayshad Lewis has decided to transfer from Utah State has not decided where yet

Utah State will lose a top Wide Receiver and a potential 2 way player.

Rayshad Lewis will leave Utah State and transfer to an undetermined school next year.

This is breaking news and very few details are currently available on why he is leaving or where he will go.

When those details become available we will update this story.

Lewis had 40 receptions for 476 yards last year in his true freshman season.

This leaves a huge hole and the WR corps and could potentially hurts the defense and Special teams as well.

He was poised to be a very productive player for the Aggies next year and potentially play both ways in addition to returning punts.

Rayshad who is the son of Ray Lewis was a high profile recruit with many offers out of Orlando Florida but did not get any P5 offers.

It is unclear if he will transfer to a P5 schools or not.

I would expect some teams to express interest now that this decision has been made.

This is definitely a different circumstance to previous transfers. He was getting playing time, no issues off the field or anything obvious like that to point to.

Lewis will end up at Maryland it is now official.

He told the Orlando Sentinel that he just "didn't fit in" at Utah State in Logan Utah.

This goes along with what I have been told for months but is unique because the Aggies have had success with a lot of guys from Florida.
