Anthony Denham is arguably the top JC wide receiver prospect in the country and has his fair share of suitors. The four star took an official visit to Salt Lake City over the weekend in an attempt to narrow down his list.
"It went good. I liked it a lot. The coaches really stood out and are showing me a lot of attention."
Graduating after spring, he hopes to step in to a starting spot as soon as he gets on campus for whatever school he chooses. With Utah losing Jereme Brooks and Shaky Smithson to graduation, Denham could take over a starting spot immediately.
"Utah lost a few starters, so I'll be able to step in and play right away, as soon as I come."
Denham doesn't list a favorite, but has narrowed it down to the four schools he has visited or will visit in Utah, LSU, Central Florida, and Mississippi.
"I don't have a favorite right now, but I really liked Utah."
What are going to be the deciding factors in his final decision? Denham lists a few of them.
"The players, the environment, the people, and the offense of course. Those are the most important things."
While on the trip he was able to spend time with current Utah commits and prospects.
"I hung out with Jarrell Oliver (committed) and Floyd Raven (offered) on my trip mostly."
With two visits down, Denham will take one each of the next two weekends before making his decision.
"I still have to visit LSU and Central Florida. Then I'll probably be making a decision on February 2nd (signing day)."
Never one to shy away from the spotlight, he'll make the announcement in front of as many people as possible.
"I'm going to try to do it on TV or anywhere possible where I can get some media attention."
