Eduardo Middleton is no stranger to big time football. He's out of Oceanside, CA, and the same high school that produced current Utes Jordan Wynn and Sam Brenner, as well as 7 straight CIF titles.
While he doesn't have an offer yet, he's seen his recruitment pick up recently and an offer could be right around the corner.
"No offers yet, but I'm getting a lot of interest right now. Mostly from Cal, Duke, Stanford, Georgia, and Utah."
Although not very familiar with Utah, the hiring of Norm Chow is helping keep the Utes in the conversation for his services.
"I heard that Norm Chow is their new offensive coordinator so that's exciting, but other than that I don't know much about Utah other than it's a beautiful place."
Without an offer, Middleton has a busy summer planned to pick up a few.
"I'm going to try to attend mostly camps here in California; UCLA, USC, probably Cal's camp, and the Nike Camp. My grandpa played at USC, so I'd like an offer from them."
A stellar student who reports a 4.17 GPA, Middleton is putting heavy emphasis on academics when making his decision.
"I'm trying to see which school gives me the best fit. Somewhere where I can get a good education. It's not a four year decision, it's a 40 year decision, but right now I'm really open to whatever is out there."
