Jarred Gipson (Cypress Creek HS) just wants to get away. The Houston, Texas prospect is up to four offers and is receiving interest from a few other high profile schools, including the University of Utah, as he looks to leave his home state.
"I'm really looking to get out and get away. Right now I have offers from Texas State, Northwestern State, Nevada, and Southeastern Louisiana and I'm also hearing from Indiana, Utah, Northwestern and Mississippi State."
Not wanting to stay in Texas when embarking on his college career, the 6-1 215 pound running back and linebacker prospect is willing to look at any school that shows him interest.
"I'm up for anything and will go anywhere. The most important thing to me is how soon I can get on the field and contribute to the team and the school has to have what I want to major in. I'm looking to major in engineering, pharmaceuticals, or sports medicine."
As for Utah. his relationship with Morgan Scalley is growing and the constant contact is keeping the Utes high on his list.
"I talk to Morgan Scalley pretty often and I'm very high on Utah. He mentioned graduating early to me, and that's a big reason why I want to commit early and get it done over the summer."
