Walker Williams is a 6-foot-7, 321-pound offensive line out of Tacoma, Wash., and is rated the No. 69 offensive tackle by Scout.com. Williams has picked up steam in his recruitment over the past few weeks and was surprised when Utah offered him a scholarship a few weeks back. "It was unexpected, I have not talked to anyone or received anything in the mail from Utah and their offer just came out of the blue," Williams said.
So far, Williams does not have a front-runner out of the schools who have offered, and he is treating each offer seriously while being happy that schools are offering him.
Comfort within the program is what will ultimately decide where Williams ends up. "I want to spend time with the coaching staff, trainers and the players to get a feel of what fits right, and that will ultimately decide where I want to go. It does not matter if a school is a contender for a BCS championship, because if it does not feel right I will not go to that school, I just want to be comfortable."
Williams has no date set to make an unofficial visit to Utah, but he does want to make a visit in the fall to check out the Utah to get an up close look at the staff, school, facilities and his potential teammates.
Location does not matter to Williams either, because as he reiterated multiple times on the phone call, he wants to go to the school where he feels the most comfortable.
