Avaloy Wants To Visit

OG Kyle Avaloy just picked up his offer and is seeing Utah start to show more interest...

Glen Ellyn (IL) Glenbard South offensive lineman Kyle Avaloy has seen the heat on his recruitment turn up in the past few weeks, with his first offer coming in just days ago.

"My recruitment is going really well. I just received my first offer from Illinois State and I'm also hearing from Southern Illinois, Utah, Iowa State, and Northern Illinois, Toledo and a couple of division 2 schools."

With Utah's dire need for offensive lineman, the 6-4, 300 pounder has seen the Utes come on strong of late and show more interest.

"They've been telling me that they are really impressed with how I get off the off the ball and are now recruiting me very hard. They also want me to send film to them for my first 3 games of the season."

Despite never having visited Utah, Avaloy is intrigued with the program and likes what he is hearing from the coaches.

"I think Utah would be a great place to be. I feel like the coaching staff actually cares about their players. Even though I haven't had the chance to go down there and actually see the school, they are still one of the top schools I am looking at right now. They will definitely be on my list of schools and I plan on officially visiting the school."

Like many prospects before him, Avaloy is putting education and coaching high on his list of needs before deciding.

"What I'm looking for in a school is a place that will proved me with a great education. Also, a place sounded by great people and an amazing coaching staff that would help me become a better player. "

Wanting to pick up a few more offers, and hoping to do so after the season kicks in, Avaloy is putting off his decision for a couple more months.

"I think I'm going to decide during the middle of the season, I still have to sit down with my mom and my coach and talk about which schools will be a good fit for me."
