With high school season in full swing, Running Back Jamie Gilmore is focused first on winning games, and second on narrowing down his recruiting list.
Heading into district play, Gilmore has rushed for an average of over 145 yards per game. With his production soaring, the playmaking RB is up to 18 offers.
"It's hard trying to separate these coaches from another sitting from home. Especially when they're all saying the same thing. I need to take my visits."
Gilmore has put a lot of thought toward his visits, but so far only knows of 2 that he is certainly taking.
"Most likely I'm going to Maryland on October 17th, and I'm going to go down to Duke. Sometime in December I'll go down to Duke."
Utah has remained in contact with Gilmore, and continues to urge the Running Back to take an official visit to Salt Lake City.
"I think I'm going to take a visit out there (to Utah). I've been thinking about it, and I think I am."
Utah's defensive coordinator, Kalani Sitake, has been Gilmore's primary recruiter.
"I talked to Coach Sitake, I think it was last week or the week before. I need to get back in touch with them this week."
When asked what criteria he was looking for in a school, Gilmore described a school that will allow him to feel comfortable for his entire college experience.
"Basically, just like what they have to offer me for four years while I'm there and after. See what life is like there, because I'm going to be there for four years of my life."
