Pac 12 Power Rankings

Theres a new number 1, and it's definitive after Oregon rolls through Stanford...

1. Oregon (9-1, 7-0)
No question about who's at the top after the Ducks whooped the Cardinal. They'd have to lose their last two games to not host the Pac 12 title game. Oregon is still in the national title hunt and will need an impressive showing this weekend against suddenly formidable USC to solidify their case.

2 Stanford (9-1, 7-1)
The hopes for a first ever national championship were dashed with the loss at home to Oregon. Andrew Luck's Heisman campaign also took a hit. Stanford looks to bounce back as they take on their Bay area rival in the Big Game Saturday.

3. USC (8-2, 5-2)
The Trojans made their case as an elite team by waxing a solid Washington squad. Now they get their chance to show that they're worthy of being an elite national team as they head to Oregon.

4. Washington (6-4, 4-3)
Washington had arguably their worst performance of the season in LA against the Trojans. The Huskies look to get back to their winning ways at Oregon State on Saturday.

5. Arizona State (6-4, 4-3)
Dennis Erickson's seat is getting hot after a second straight loss on the road, this one to Washington State. The Devils look to right the ship this week against rival Arizona.

6. Utah (6-4, 3-4)
Now this is the Utah team we all thought we'd see when the season started. John White is making his case as a first team all Pac 12 running back. The Utes now head north to Pullman for a date with a Wazzu team capable of putting up huge offensive numbers.

7. UCLA (5-5, 4-3)
That should clinch it for Rick Neuheisel. He has to be done after that poor performance against Utah, yet they still control their own destiny in the Pac 12 South. The Bruins come back home looking to become bowl eligible against lowly Colorado.

8. Cal (6-4, 3-4)
Cal did what Cal does; wins at home with a strong defensive performance against Oregon State. The Bears now get to battle Stanford in the Big Game.

9. Washington State (4-6, 2-5)
Surprise, surprise. The Cougars went to the air and put up a ton of yards in shocking Arizona State. Now they face arguably the top defense in the conference in Utah at home this weekend.

10. Oregon State (2-8, 2-5)
The long year in Corvallis continues after a dismal offensive performance against Cal. The Beavers host Washington this weekend.

11. Colorado (2-9, 1-6)
