Bush-Loo Awaiting Utah Offer

With three offers in hand already, the Kamehameha athlete is hoping for a few more.

Currently sitting at three offers, Keoni Bush-Loo is very happy with the way things have gone so far. Still, Bush-Loo is expecting a few more.

Bush-Loo holds offers from Nebraska, Idaho, and Army, but new schools including San Diego State, Boise State, and Cal contact the multi-talented athlete every day.

Bush-Loo most recently scheduled an official to Idaho and will be there on Jan 13th and 14th.

Utah has been in contact with Bush-Loo as recently as a couple of weeks ago, but the Utes have different plans for Keoni than most.

"Coach Kauha'aha'a is my main recruiter. Utah is recruiting me on defense and not at tight end. Coach Chad is looking at me as either a DE or an OLB."

Bush-Loo says he played MLB, OLB, DE, along with his primary position of TE for his high school team this year and he sees his versatility as a strength.

Utah hasn't offered Bush-Loo yet, but according to Keoni Coach Chad is still interested and is waiting for "a few things to shake out over the next week or two" before they'll know if they can offer him.

In the meantime Keoni says he hears from Utah once or twice a month.

Playing time is the most important thing to Keoni, he wants to get on the field and play as early as possible. Schools like Cal are coming on strong telling him they'll have room for him right away.

Bush-Loo will set his visits soon and plans to make his decision by the end of January.
