Tony Winslow was targeted by Utah early, and as a result they jumped to the top of his list immediately.
As time went on, however, the list of teams interested in Winslow's services grew and grew.
Now the youngster has choices ranging from Central Arkansas to Missouri and his favorite right now might surprise you.
"Utah, Arkansas, and Texas State are the three I like most right now. They're all really close but Texas State is definitely my favorite."
One reason Texas State stands out among offers from schools such as Missouri, Arizona, Nevada and other prominent programs is the playing time they can offer.
"Playing time is definitely important to me. I've never been a fan of sitting on the bench. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I really like to be out on the field making plays."
Winslow has a visit scheduled to Texas State on January 20th, along with visits to Arkansas on December 27th and Houston on January 27th.
Utah stays in very close contact with Winslow too and he expects to visit Salt Lake City in January.
"I'll definitely be taking a visit in January sometime. It's just a matter of figuring out when and scheduling it with Coach Scalley."
Coach Scalley likes Winslow as a combo DE/LB such as current Ute Trevor Reilly and Tony says he likes that idea.
While early leaders such as Missouri and Arizona have fallen a bit, Winslow says everybody is an option at this point.
"I want to take all of my visits before I decide on a school, so I probably won't be committing until close to signing day. I really like Texas State but everybody is pretty close right now."
