In just a few short weeks, Toye Adewon has gone rom relative unknown to big time recruit. The offensive line prospect out of Texas has received offers from schools all over the country with more likely rolling in over the next few weeks.
"I got word that my tape sent out a few weeks ago and a bunch of schools came back with offers."
So far the 6-4, 280 pounder is reporting offers from New Mexico, Navy, Utah, Utah State, Nevada, Purdue, Kansas, Sam Houston State, Eastern Kentucky, and Oregon State.
"I don't have any favorites right now because all of this is kind of new and I haven't set up any visits yet. Right now I think I want to visit Utah, Utah State, New Mexico, and Navy."
The success of the Utah program has piqued Adewon's interest and he's very interested in what they have to offer.
"Coach Scalley offered me two weeks ago. I like the school and I would like to come out for a visit and to see what they have to offer. I've never been there before."
Having just jumped into the recruiting game, Adewon doesn't have a ton of time to figure out where he's going to go, but has decided on a date that he'll make his decision.
"I'm going to make my decision on January 30th, after I take my visits."
