Bryan Allen ended the suspense and committed to the Utah coaches during an in home visit today.
"It's official. I'm a Ute," said the WR/DB prospect who is being brought in on the offensive side of the ball.
It didn't take long for Utah coaches Kyle Whittingham and Morgan Scalley to get a verbal out of Allen after reaching his house.
"We sat down with my mom and I wanted to make sure that this is what she wanted. She said it was my decision and Utah was where I wanted to be, so I made the commitment."
The Ute coaches continued to stress education as an important part of the experience at Utah, a thought that resonates well with Allen.
"They talked a lot about me getting my degree and they have a good engineering program so I'm excited about that."
Now that his decision is made, the versatile playmaker can focus on his final year of high school basketball.
"Now that I know where I'm going, I'm just going to finish out the basketball season out and cancel all of my other visits. I'm pretty solid."
