Utah picked up their third commitment from a visitor over the last weekend when Reginald Porter revealed that he had committed to Kyle Whittingham and the Utes.
"My visit went good. I committed to them. I committed on my visit."
Utah was the first official visit that Porter made, and he won't be taking anymore despite offers from Memphis, Louisiana-Monroe, and Louisiana-Lafayette.
"Utah was the perfect fit for me. They have a great environment, academics, and the people. Good people out there."
Porter had been speaking with Utah for some time, and was excited when they offered a couple of months ago.
"They offered me at the end of my football season when we were in the playoffs."
The 5-11, 200 pound prospect is a good athlete with self-reported 4.45 speed and will come in as a corner at Utah, shoring up the secondary.
"They want me as a corner. That's all I really play. I'm ready to come in and work hard and get focused. Those are two of my biggest strengths."
