2013 West Coast QB With Lots Of Interest

Sefo Liufau is an under the radar 2013 QB that is going to turn heads...

There may not be a tougher QB in the west for 2013 than Tacoma (WA) Bellarmine Prep signal caller Sefo Liufau. Coming off of an 11-1 junior season, Liufau is prepping for his senior year as his recruitment starts picking up steam.

"It's really been picking up. A lot more schools are contacting me. No schools have offered, but I've been talking to a couple of coaches."

Liufau lists Colorado, Auburn, Alabama, UCLA, Washington State as the schools he's been talking to, along with Utah.

"I've talked to Coach Duff at Utah and they've been sending me a lot of stuff. I think Utah is a great program. I watched their bowl game when they had a great come from behind win. Coach Duff is a great guy and I've really liked getting to know him."

Liufau and his family are prioritizing academics when he makes his decision at some point down the road, having put forth time and effort to make sure he stays on track.

"Education is first. My parents have done a lot to put me through some good schools to help me maintain a high standard with education. I have to get there and see how it feels at the school and get a feel for it."

That decision won't be for quite awhile as the 6-3.5, 215 pounder wants to take all of his official visits before making a decision.

"I'm not really sure right now when I want to decide, but probably closer to signing day. I want to be able to go over everything with my parents and take all of my visits."

Until then, Liufau will be working on picking up his first offer and attending camps throughout the spring and summer.

"I plan on attending a few camps and visit a few schools unofficially over the summer. During spring break I'm going to visit a school, but we're not sure which one right now."
