Another day and another player from Texas picking up interest from the Utes. This time it's wide receiver Temi Alaka who already has 5 offers to his name.
"I have offers from Air Force, Texas State, Yale, Lamar, and Southeastern Louisiana."
Alaka is also hearing a lot from Utah, Purdue, Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Texas Tech and lists three of those schools at the top.
"Right now I'd say Michigan State, Purdue and Utah are my top three."
Utah's interest has really struck a chord with Alaka who has developed a strong relationship with Coach Scalley that will bring the 6-3 190 pound receiver to Salt Lake City for the upcoming Elite Camp.
"I've been talking to Coach Scalley. He's a really cool person and that's been a good thing for me. I like that they're in the Pac 12 and go up against some top competition. I haven't visited, but I'll be out in the summer for their camp. They want me to come out and work for an offer."
Alaka is looking for a good fit for himself in terms of setting when making his decision and wants to play on the biggest stages.
"The campus and surrounding area has to be right for me. Academics are important too. I also want to play on national television and in a big conference."
The native Texan is looking to decide in the next couple of months where he'll play his college football, but won't hold himself to that if the right fit isn't found.
"I was hoping to decide over the summer or at least narrow down to a top two, but I don't have a solid time frame right now."
