Morrow Names Two Leaders

The So Cal athlete has two Pac 12 schools at the top

Southern California product Jamal Morrow has parlayed an impressive junior year into multiple Pac 12 offers and may have more on the way, even though two schools from that conference stand out.

"Right now Washington State and Utah are the schools that are standing out. They both play in the Pac 12 so I'd get to go up against the best of the best. It's the best conference around and they have the best teams and players."

Utah offered a couple of months back and Morrow likes what he is hearing and has learned about the only BCS conference school in the Beehive State.

"Utah is an up and coming school. They had a good year last year and I like that they're in the Pac 12 and can compete with anyone."

Morrow is being recruited on the offensive side of the ball after putting up over 1,700 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2011.

"Coach Shah wants me at running back, but I can also play corner. We talk once in awhile and have a really good relationship. I'll probably take an official out there either during my season or right after the season ends."

The 5-9, 180 pounder won't be rushing a decision and will take visits before pulling the trigger on his future school.

"When I take my official visit to a school, I want to see how the campus feels and what the playing time situation is like. If I'm feeling that it's the right school for me, I'll make the commitment."
