With Utah's first weekend of official visits completed, the biggest name on campus may have been a commit to another school in Jordan Villamin, who is committed to Oregon State.
"It went really well. It was better than I expected it to be."
Villamin spent time touring the campus and got to see some of the new projects currently being worked on.
"I saw where they were building the new facilites and the academics buildings. We also got to tour the whole stadium."
The game day experience stood out to Villamin as well as the people he met on the visit.
"The atmosphere of the whole campus was great and the way the coaches and players are. All of them were really genuine people."
Villamin was hosted by a fellow wide receiver who also hails from Southern California.
"My host was Kenneth Scott. We didn't really hang out after the game because I was really tired, but we hung out at dinner on the last day."
While he enjoyed the Utah visit, Villamin insists that he's still committed to Oregon State, but won't make a final decision until after he visits them officially in November.
"I'm still commited but it's a hard decision because both of those schools are great schools. They have alot of things that I'm looking for in a school. I'm visiting OSU in November when they play Cal. After I take the visit to OSU I will finally decide then."
