UA Preview: White Team Offense

A talented trio of quarterbacks lead the White Team offense at the UnderArmour All-America Game...

The Scout300 is loaded with prospects on the White Team's offense and we take a look at them by position here.


Three of the top seven quarterbacks in the country will play for Team White, quite possibly the best positional unit of any offensive grouping in the game.

Shane Morris, a commit to Michigan, is ranked third nationally by, a five-star prospect, and he's joined by Kevin Olsen, a Miami commit ranked right behind Morris at fourth.

Brice Ramsey, committed to Georgia and ranked seventh nationally, rounds out the passers.

All three of these passers were at the Elite 11 Finals in Southern California during the summer.

Running Back

The running back trio is also pretty stacked, with a pair of five-star running backs and another top 20 ball-carrier in the group.

USC verbal Ty Isaac is ranked third in the country and he's joined by fellow top five back Keith Ford, a Texas native who's committed to Oklahoma.

St. Petersburg native Ryan Green will be playing in front of his hometown crowd during the actual game at the Tropicana Dome, and he's headed to Florida State.

Wide Receiver/Tight End

The receiver position has players from all over the country, West, Midlands, Midwest and South, in what should be a nice core group of pass-catchers.

The South's contributions to the squad include Georgia verbal Tramel Terry and Auburn pledge Earnest Robinson as well as Florida native Stacy Coley, who's top five includes Florida, Florida State, Miami, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Coming from the Midlands is Baylor verbal Robbie Rhodes and out of the West is Sebastian LaRue, a USC verbal who is still considering Texas A&M and Notre Dame.

The Midwest will provide Ohio State commit Jalin Marshall and Illinois resident Laquon Treadwell, the four-star who's visit plans include Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Michigan and Florida..

The two tight ends are Arkansas verbal Hunter Henry, ranked third nationally, and Ohio State commit Marcus Baugh, right behind Henry at fourth in the country.

Offensive Line

Its a strong group of offensive linemen on the White roster, and it too spans the country in stocking its roster.

From the East comes Maryland verbal Derwin Gray, Pittsburgh commit Dorian Johnson and Michigan verbal Patrick Kugler as well as Na'Ty Rodgers, who's yet to make a decision but is focusing on Maryland, South Carolina and Washington.

The Midwest cranked out Michigan verbals Logan Tuley-Tillman and David Dawson, who may even line up next to each other.

From the West are two future Pac-12 players, UCLA verbal Scott Quessenberry and Cal commit Cameron Hunt, who plans to visit Michigan and Oregon in January as well as Cal.

The lone Southerner in the game is Florida State commit Ira Denson, who continues his meteoric rise from unknown in the offseason to an All-American.

Special Teams

Handling the specialist duties are Ryan Santoso, a kicker from Florida, punter Shane Tripucka from Texas and long snapper Brendan Turelli from Arizona.
