Don Hill Talks Utes

Boise DE talks Utah recruiting and where the Utes stand on his list of schools.

Boise State defensive end Don Hill, a standout at Timberline HS, has the Utes on his radar.

"They're in my top 3, definitely."

Utah is competing with Boise State and Washington for Hills services and Hill says it'll be tough for the Utes to compete.

"I have a strong relationship with the coaches at those schools (UW/BSU) and like what they've told me. I talk to Coach Erickson at Utah on Facebook every now and then and I know what Utah is about."

Hill is looking for a school where he can excel as a pass rusher off the edge. He's an athletic defensive end who loves to attack the quarterback and blow up an offense.

Hill says he isn't planning on committing anytime soon and says the Utes have some ground to make up if they want to make it into his final 2.

"I know about Utah and who they are. They are a good program with good academics, I could pick from a lot of majors there and I like that. They're close to home too and my family could catch a lot of games which would be nice. I just have a strong relationship with the coaches at the other schools that I don't have at Utah. They're still in it though, I'm still looking at them.

Looks like the Utes may need to increase their recruiting pressure on Hill if they want to land the talented defensive prospect.
