Godfrey Gets Another

Florida DB Andre Godfrey picked up another offer, this one from Utah

They may not have had much success in Florida in the past, but that isn't stopping Utah from offering the top players in the Sunshine State, the most recent being defensive back Andre Godfrey.

"Utah came by and Coach Erickson offered me. I really liked him and what he did at the U back in the day."

With the Utes being his most recent, Godfrey's list again grows with top schools all over the country jumping into the mix.

"Things are really going good with my recruitment. I've got offers from schools like Kentucky, UCLA, Boston College, Louisville, and then Utah offered the other day. Stanford is also getting close to offering."

The 6-0, 180 pounder is putting an emphasis on finding a school that can get him to the league.

"I'm looking for a school that I can get early playing time at. I also want a school that has a big fan base that really supports their team. Having good coaches is important too."

The skilled athlete would like to make a summer decision, but will hold off in he can't find the right fit.

"I'll try to take a few visits and then if I've found the right school, I'll commit in early August. If not, I'll wait until after my season or closer to signing day to decide."
