The Utah coaches took part in a So Cal camp in Carson, California on Saturday with dozens of prospects turning up for the event. One of the more heralded players was running back Kurt Scoby, who is still looking for that Utah offer.
"It went pretty good. Me and my teammates really liked it. The coaches were there and it was good to work with them. They liked my physicallity a lot. I'm really excited about how I did."
Scoby really enjoyed working with Utah co-offensive coordinator and running back coach, Dennis Erickson.
"I worked with all of the coaches, especially the running back coach. I really liked him."
Still far from a decision, Scoby will be taking a few unofficial visits over the summer and hopes to make it out to Salt Lake City.
"They want me to come out and visit the campus and see if it like it. They don't want to offer until I visit the school, but basically, they said there would be an offer on the table."
