2015 Prospect Hits Up Utah Elite Camp

2015 forward prospect Zac Seljaas discusses his performance at the U

Utah concluded their elite camp over the weekend and one of the top prospects there was 2015 Bountiful (UT) guard/forward Zac Seljaas, who took part in Friday's session.

"It was good. It was fun. I think I didn't pretty good."

Seljass is attempting to work his way into an offer, but being a 2015 player, he's got plenty of time.

"They didn't really say much about an offer. We mostly just talked about basketball. I liked how it wasn't just a camp where you go and play. They went through individual stuff and worked with you."

Being able to work with the coaches was huge for Seljass who developed a relationship with one of the Utah assistants.

"I really liked Tommy Connor. He really helped out."

With interest from the local schools, Seljaas will continue to work over the summer with his AAU team and try to draw more interest.

"I'm still looking around for my first offer. I've been traveling around with my AAU team (Utah Prospects)."

The 6-7, 195 pounder doesn't have a favorite, but knows what he wants out of a school.

"The style of play, the coaching staff and the school's academics are important to me. I don't have a favorite right now though. Everyone is even right now. Just trying to find the school that fits me."

As for the Utes, Seljass does like the fact that they're so close and is a program he's familiar with.

"It's close to home, and I like that. I always grew up watching the Utes."

The combo guard put up impressive stats in his sophomore year averaging 15 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists per game in leading Bountiful to the 4A semifinals.
