No leaders For Kaufusi At The Time

As his senior season draws close, Isaiah Kaufusi is keeping his options open as to where he will play at the next level.

Offers: BYU, Hawaii, Utah, Utah State

Brighton High School's Isaiah Kaufusi is looking to have a big senior season. While Brighton hasn't won a playoff game in years, Kaufusi sees things going a little different this season. "I want to be a leader for this team, make the playoffs, and get a post season win". Although Brighton lost a lot of talent this last year, Kaufusi states, "I think we have the talent to win a championship."

At 6'2" 185 pounds, Kaufusi is being recruited at both the linebacker and safety position. In addition, long snapping is another talent Kaufusi brings to the table.

While Kaufusi is open to leaving the state of Utah, he would prefer to stay home so that family can watch him play.

As far as Utah goes, Kaufusi is being recruited by Jay Hill, and has been in contact with coach Hill since sophomore year. "I think Utah is a great school. The new football facility is awesome, and I like the academics. Especially the medical school."

When asked about any school leading at the time, Kaufusi responded,"No, I think they're all great. They all have great football programs and great academics. No matter what school I choose, I'm going to a great place".

After graduating from Brighton, Kaufusi plans to serve an LDS mission.
