Utah brought in its highest rated visitor to date over the weekend in Naijeil Hale, and the experience made an impression.
"It was a pretty fun trip and the second time I had been out to Utah. We got to do a lot of fun things like go up to the snow and have a snowball fight. We ate a lot of food and went to a place called Rodizio. It was really good."
With Utah's big upset win over Stanford, Rice-Eccles Satdium was rocking, and recruits like Hale took notice.
"The game was a lot of fun and the atmosphere was crazy. The fans were really into it. I also spent a lot of time with Lucky and Delshawn. Lucky was my host. I also liked Coach Fred and Coach Doug. They were cool guys."
While Hale is currently committed to Arizona, taking trips will help him see if there is another school that fits him best.
"I just want a school that is the best fit for me. A place that treats me and the other players like family. I still have to visit Washington State. Not sure about my other visits, but I want to take all five."
Flipping him from the Wildcats though looks like it will be a tough task for any school to do.
"I'm still committed to Arizona. I have the best relationship with them and have been out there a bunch of times. For me to commit to another school, something unexpected would have to happen like a coaching change or something like that."
For now, Hale will continue focusing on his senior year, hoping that he gets to make a bigger impact.
"My senior season has been pretty boring. We're winning, but I haven't had a single ball thrown my way all season. Not one."
