Williams Loves Utah Visit

Utah commit Tavaris Williams discusses recent visit to Salt Lake City

It's the second to last visit weekend of the recruiting season and the Utes hosted one of their top commits in Tavaris Williams.

"I loved it. We went snowmobiling, ate a lot of food, spent time with the players, and got to check out the facilities. It was great."

Williams was hosted by two players from his region of the country on the visit.

"My hosts were Gionni (Paul) and Charles (Henderson). They were cool guys."

The running back prospect out of Florida visited the Gators last weekend and has a visit scheduled to Wisconsin next weekend, but that's very much up in the air.

"I'm not sure about the visit to Wisconsin. Right now I think I'm probably going to cancel it, but I'm not sure yet."

It's been a busy couple of weeks for Williams, but that should slow down with only the Utah coaches coming in this week for an in-home visit.

"Just Coach Kalani (Sitake) and Coach Erickson are coming by on Wednesday. Those are the only coaches I know of that are visiting."

With there being a lot of concern about Williams flipping to another school, he remains mostly solid in his verbal pledge to the Utes.

"I'd say I'm about 90% committed to Utah."
