The Skinny: Williams wants to play running back and it looks like he'll get that chance at Utah. After his visit this past weekend and pending in-home with Sitake and Erickson on Wednesday, we project him to stick with the commitment. Law has been all over the place, but our expectation is he picks the Utah hat on signing day. For now, we'll project that Tre Watson does not sign with Utah.
Clay has already signed, while Young and Singleton are solid. Utah is still trying to finalize a visit with Lenius for this weekend, which we're led to believe could produce a commitment. Utah has been gaining ground with him in the last week and we'll project a visit turns into a commitment. Utah has done a very good job of addressing their pressing need for speed at the wide receiver position in this class
The Skinny: Utah holds on to Tukuafu despite some other local interest. He'll be a sign and send.
The Skinny: Barton is already on campus. We don't anticipate Utah getting another offensive lineman.
The Skinny: The Utes have six projected defensive linemen locked in, and we'll make it seven with Jalen Canty. After his visit to Utah, we expect him to pick the Utes over Washington State.
The Skinny: Pututua is a sign and send and that's all Utah will take at linebacker through signing day, although eventually, we expect JC backer Sunia Tauteoli to end up at Utah. That could happen in the spring or summer.
Hughes is solid, Hobbs is pretty much locked up, and despite reports of Jones wavering a bit and looking at Utah, we have no reason to believe that he'll flip, based on previous conversations. Utah will have plenty of good playmakers coming in.
The Skinny: We like where Utah sits with all of their safety commits and prospects. The commits are solid and we continue to believe that Wilson ends up picking the Utes.
