Repp Getting Closer

Southern California wide receiver Caleb Repp is closing in on a decision

Utah's been making Southern California a priority with the 2015 recruiting class, and could add another soon in wide receiver Caleb Repp.

The big receiver reports offers from Montanta State, Sacramento State, Nevada, and Utah, with two school leading right now.

"Utah and Nevada are standing out to me. I'm also hearing from Washington State, Oregon State, Washington, and Arizona."

Repp visited Utah earlier this month and came away impressed.

"I really like what they had to offer. The coaches were really nice and a lot of them like Whittingham and Roderick have been there for a long time. The facilities were great."

Making his first trek to the Beehive State, Repp enjoyed exploring the city.

"My mom and I checked out the dorms on campus and we checked out Salt Lake City. I liked Trolley Square. It was my first time to Salt Lake City. It's a big city, but still didn't feel that big and I liked that."

The 6-4, 203 pound wide receiver is putting a lot of stock in playing time when making his comment, something he expressed strongly.

"Playing time is number 1 for me. I want to be able to play. Academics, location, and the coaching staff are also important."

That commitment could be coming soon if Repp is able to stick to his timeframe.

"I just talked to my coach about it yesterday and he said I should wait until September so I can check out all of my options and maybe have a few more schools offer by then."
