Pac 12 Power Rankings: Week 2

Oregon holds strong to the top spot, while Utah is moving up

1. Oregon (2-0)
It was a struggle for a half, but the Ducks ended up putting 46 points on Michigan State. Let that sink in. This is a real national title contender.

2. USC (2-0)
It wasn't pretty, and they were outplayed, but the Trojans went to Stanford and pulled out a hard-fought win. They'll take it.

3. Stanford (1-1)
The Cardinal owned most of the game against USC, but lost the battle of the scoreboard in a 13-10 loss.

4. UCLA (2-0)
The offense showed up this week with 42 points against Memphis. The defense? Not so much as they gave up 35. Not the start a team with national title aspirations wanted. Undefeated, but TONS of questions.

5. Arizona State (2-0)
New Mexico hung with the Sun Devils for a half before Taylor Kelly and company flexed their might. Solid start to the season for a young team.

6. Arizona (2-0)
It wasn't easy against Texas-San Antonio, but the Wildcats escaped to remain perfect.

7. Utah (2-0)
Utah absolutely stomped Fresno State in a game that wasn't as close as the final score.

8. Washington (2-0)
The Dawgs are struggling as they almost fell to FCS opponent Eastern Washington, but are still undefeated to start the year.

9. Cal (2-0)
Hi. We're Cal. We score points. Year 2 under Sonny Dykes is starting out as well as they could have hoped.

10. Oregon State (2-0)
Oregon State looked good to start at Hawaii before holding off the Rainbow Warriors 4th quarter onslaught in an 8 point win. Undefeated, but barely, and over two poor teams.

11. Washington State (0-2)
Two mediocre opponents. Two losses for Wazzu as they put up only 13 points at Nevada.

12. Colorado (1-1)
The Buffs came off of their sad loss to Colorado State by almost losing to FCS team UMASS. Might be another long year in Boulder.
